The Scarlet Squad had been a long-standing personal 1/6th project that was kept in carton storage for (literally) years, until the OSW Sci-Fi Group Bash came into play.

Even then, The Squad was a last minute decision / addition, as all other initial ~~original~~ new concepts were thrown out the sandbox as time was dwindling away fast (i gotta make a living too, no? ;p) and the deadline was looming dearthly close.

But it was evident i could not complete the entire team in time (currently standing @ 8-man/woman/alien strong). luckily i already had a basic base for most of them and finally i decided on two figures who stood out stronger to me. one was nearer completion, while the other was in fact a start-from-scratch kitbash.

The concept of The Scarlet Squad was my new redux-take on the old Captain Scarlet shows. I had loved CS and it lingered in my mind and memory until this day and my version. It all started out with my first online purchase of an old CS-figure and from then on, i've been ~~scaveging~~ trying to pick up as many as i can, primarily for the vest! (which i could've tried to sew or make myself, innit? but alas i is talentless and slack :p)

And of coz the Squad would be populated by men, women, alien, cyborgs etc. "variety is the spice of 1/6th-life" and i like mine very spicy please, thank you very much! LOL

This blog will serve as a platform, archive and a record of the many characters in the Scarlet Squad and mayhap in time, they will go beyond the toy-platform to mass media? well, that is my dream anyways ... hope y'all enjoy the stories and images herein :)
